Johnstone Supply is seeking a dynamic results-driven Branch Manager to join our team. The individual will provide leadership and support across multiple branch locations. This is a in training role and once a role opens in the respective market this individual will be placed with a branch.
RESPONSIBILITIESThe responsibilities of the Branch Manager- In Training include, but are not limited to:
Team ManagementEstablish, communicate, and models performance expectations for all team membersEnsures team members have the knowledge and skills to perform their jobsEnsures performance expectations are met by monitoring reports, gathering feedback from customers, and observing performanceMaintains accurate and up-to-date financial records, store operational records, documentation, and employee performance files
Customer Sales and Service
Ensures customers receive prompt, professional service both in person and over the phone while working directly with customersManages counter sales transactions and ensures that team members increase sales through add on and suggestive selling techniquesWorks to support outside and inside sales activity, develops/implements sales programs and promotionsEnsures customer complaints and disputes are resolved in a timely, professional mannerFollow up on sales leads and inquiries to generate additional businessBusiness Management and Financial Success
Establish sales and profitability goals for the storeOversee customer returns, warranty processes, and balancing customer requests with company guidelinesControl store operational costs, including labor, supplies, utilities, etc. to ensure overall store profitabilityAdministrative Tasks
Maintain accurate records of sales transactions, customer interactions, and inventory movementsAssist with general administrative duties such as filing, data entry, and phone/email correspondenceGeneral Results and Responsibilities
Adheres to and enforces all company policies, procedures, and business ethics codesMay represent Johnstone Supply at trade associations and eventsBENEFITS

5 + years of management experience
