We are looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager to join our team. As a Project Manager, you play a key role in the success of Mullins Mechanical by ensuring successful completion of construction projects. Development and management of all project documentationSchedule and lead project hand-off meetings to ensure important job information is gathered before proceeding into construction phasePrepare construction budget by studying plans and specifications and identifying and projecting costs for each scope/item/division; convert estimates into cost budgets and verify cost code accuracyObtain appropriate permitsFinalize Schedule of Values for owner billingBuild and actively manage the project schedule with the field supervisorsComplete job number request forms and submit to accounting for job number assignmentPrepare electronic timesheet to match cost code breakdownEnsure project financial success by establishing and managing project schedules and budgets, preparing and reporting monthly on job cost, and actively work to ensure project profitabilityDevelop and write subcontracts and purchase orders as required including negotiating terms, price, deliveries, and restock feesContractually manage subcontractorsSubmit new vendor/subcontractor form to AP prior to job startPrepare material status log and update continuallyCollect and organize submittals and product samples for approval as neededPrepare productivity tracking logs and update dailyPrepare/review daily pipe and structural weld reports/inspection reports for tracking purposesPrepare PMIs (internal running punch list) and review with construction teamCreate and distribute RFIs for information and clarification of project specificsPrepare monthly project billing and/or invoicesSubmit credit card receipts weekly (Refer to the Corporate Credit Card Agreement)Resolve cost discrepancies by collecting and analyzing informationCollaboratively price, negotiate, and formalize all changes in project scopeProvide adequate Notices of Delay to Owners, General Contractors, and Sub-Contractors to document external schedule impactsWork collaboratively with Assistant Project Managers and Superintendents on their requests for resources as required to meet project schedulesHire field personnel as needed and work with HR to schedule onboarding of personnelEnsure client satisfaction while balancing competing demands among scope, time, and costReview time sheets for accuracy and submit to HR/Payroll for processingConduct direct report employee reviews annually or more often if neededManage safety, quality, and productivity of the projectPrepare/review safety and quality incident reports and submit to HRSubmit employee reprimand, termination, and request off forms to HRApprove invoices in accounting software weeklyEnsure jobsite remains clean and orderlyUpdate Opportunity Project Tracking Form and submit to CRM ManagerQualifications

Previous work experience in project management or BS/BA degree in Building Science, Engineering, Construction Management, or another related fieldPMP, CCM, or an equivalent certification would be considered an assetDesign/Build experience would be considered an assetOSHA 30, First Aid and CPR TrainingExtensive work experience managing budgets for construction projectsExcellent knowledge of construction materials and equipmentHighly organizedPrevious experience in a leadership role with strong and proven leadership skillsKnowledge of MS Office SuiteKnowledge of construction safety and quality standardsUnderstanding of construction management processesAbility to work collaboratively and plan aheadFamiliarity with construction and project management software programsAbility to budget, schedule, negotiate, and control costsHigh degree of familiarity with contract and subcontract documents, terms, and conditionsConflict resolution and conflict management experienceExcellent time management abilityAbility to multitask with a strong understanding of core manager dutiesExcellent communication skills and interpersonal abilitiesJoin UsMullins Mechanical ranked #1,475 on the 2023 Inc. 5000 list and we’re proud to be one of the fastest growing privately held companies in America.
