As the Director of Web Strategy and Experience, you will be responsible for all Auctane websites with the goal of increasing brand visibility, driving traffic, improving engagement, and growing trialers and subscribers for all Auctane products. Your role is to be the architect of our digital presence, driving excellence in both vision and execution across all websites within the Auctane portfolio. Your leadership will help drive seamless collaboration across teams, including but not limited to product marketing, growth marketing, content, design/UX/UI, product, customer support, and IT.You will be responsible for driving new revenue through our websites by improving brand visibility on the web, optimizing site performance, and by creating operational efficiencies. By leveraging web analytics and market insights, you will create new approaches to refine and elevate our online experience. You will oversee the web development team, ensuring that they have the capacity and resources necessary to deliver on the strategic needs of the business. You’ll also develop and lead a process for rapid experimentation to enhance the user experience and create incremental revenue streams. With a background in website management, optimization, and strategic planning, you will play a central role in identifying new opportunities for growth and scalability.This role is based in Austin, TX. Expectations are to be onsite 3 days a week Tuesday-Thursday.What will you be doing?
Develop and execute a global, end-to-end website strategy aligned with all Auctane brands, focusing on enhancing traffic acquisition and improving user conversion rates.Oversee the execution of website projects, from conception to deployment to ongoing improvements, with a focus on quality, efficiency, and user experience.Utilize data-driven insights from tools like Google Analytics, Segment, Looker, Optimizely, and other analytics platforms to analyze user behavior, conversion pathways, and website performance.Evangelize testing programs to drive a culture of continuous learning and optimization.Lead a team in charge of planning, architecting, and executing the website's strategic direction.Oversee the development and execution of a comprehensive SEO strategy.Collaborate cross-functionally to improve user journeys across a number of touchpoints.Explore and advocate for new tools, technology, and methods to mature Auctane’s web strategy.Proactive communication and dissemination of insights and recommendations regarding web performance.What are we looking for?
10+ years of experience in digital strategy, SEO, experimentation, and website management in a B2B SaaS environment.Demonstrated expertise in leading web strategy, experimentation, and SEO functions.Deep understanding of web metrics and how to build and operate a website to drive measurable revenue growth.A track record of driving incremental revenue through experimentation.Experience managing and optimizing multiple websites across global markets at once.Extensive analytical skills, specializing in web analytics and reporting.Hands-on web development experience is a plus.The Tech
