The Director, Creative Video & Photography will be responsible for supporting a variety of content development efforts for
Beef. It’s What’s For Dinner.
This position is part of the Brand Marketing team and reports to the Sr. Executive Director, Brand Marketing. This position works in partnership with an integrated marketing team to develop campaign and content strategies and serves as a dedicated producer for various pieces of content, creating visual elements for both traditional and digital media, including but not limited to video, print, signage, website, and social media. This position creates highly engaging video and photography that supports building brand awareness for one of the most iconic brands— Beef. It’s What’s For Dinner . This position works closely across other marketing functions to plan and execute.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
An employee in this position may be called upon to do any or all of the following essential functions. These examples do not include all of the functions which the employee may be expected to perform.
Collaborate with marketing team members to inform Beef. It’s What’s For Dinner. campaign and content strategies and identify video and photo needs.
Create marketing assets for consumer and related audience campaigns that align with strategic priorities and established brand style guidelines.
Concept, collaborate, and present compelling and relevant creative that represents the brand and connects with target audiences.
Work with Market Research to examine trends, consumer personas and research finding to develop key content assets.
Identify and direct external vendors for production services when needed.
Develop engaging video and photography for ad campaigns to be distributed across a variety of media platforms, to include content planning, scheduling, pre-production, primary production and post-production.
Manage cross-functional video & photo needs including production and editing.
Edit existing content for repurposed use.
Organize shot footage for post-production archives.
Deliver and ensure ongoing stream of impactful high-quality content based on campaign calendar.
Manage, organize, and tag a growing archive of all creative assets across the brand portfolio.
Develop, track and report out project timelines and work plans.
Explore, recommend, and activate new ways of sharing and producing engaging consumer content.
Work closely with Creative Services department to ensure backup and support of efforts as well as usage of shared equipment and ensure integration of produced assets into state and national projects.
Attention to detail while managing brand guidelines for content being created and reviewed.
Stay up to date on design trends, media platforms, and competitors.
Other job duties as assigned.
EDUCATION
- Bachelor’s Degree in marketing, content production, video and photography, graphic design/visual arts or related field preferred.
EXPERIENCE
– 5-7 years’ experience in a creative video & photography role.
EQUIVALENCY

CERTIFICATION(S)
– None.
SKILLS
- Understanding and eye for great visual design and the ability to manage design specs into finalized assets. Excellent project management skills and understanding of the production workflow. Proficient use of Adobe Creative Suite and adept at learning new software as needed, photography and video editing skills. A passion for food with food photography/video experience. Dedicated to making a difference while communicating beef’s position as the preferred protein through strategic creative asset development. Graphic design skills are preferred.
