The City of Irving is searching for an experienced professional to lead its Capital Improvement Program as the Director. The CIP Department is instrumental in all new construction initiatives within Irving. The department supervises the construction of city streets, water and wastewater systems, drainage infrastructure, and facilities such as libraries, aquatic centers, fire stations, trails, and parks.
To qualify for this opportunity, applicants must have Bachelor's degree in a relevant field of study and at least seven years of experience in the management of large CIP projects, including a minimum of two years in a supervisory capacity. A professional engineer or architect license or PMP certification is preferred.
