JOB PROFILE SUMMARY
Designs and defines system architecture for new or existing computer systems. Coordinates system development to include design, modeling, security, integration, and formal testing.Responsibilities:
Contributes to completion of specific engineering programs and projects.Develops solutions to a variety of complex engineering problems.Perform complex systems design, development, and integration from the start of a systems life cycle to the end.Oversees complex infrastructure including installing, configuring, testing, and maintaining operating systems, application software, and system management tools.Performs complex systems modeling, simulation, and analysis.Performs continual maintenance and provides complex solutions for security, backup, and redundancy problems.Prepares and maintains documentation for processes and procedures related to engineering projects.Maintains current knowledge of rapidly changing technology.May coach and provide guidance to less-experienced professionals.May serve as a team or task lead.WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
Qualifications:
Strong understanding of Unified Communications design, requirements, and functions.Expert-level technical proficiency in Unified Communications system administration.Experience with various collaboration tools such as Cisco Jabber and/or Microsoft Teams, Call Manager 12.5 or higher, with expert-level proficiency in utilizing Bulk Administration Templates and Tools.Coordinate with source data custodians to understand the data required for specific requirements.Expert-level proficiency in MS Excel and other data manipulation tools to logically sort, reference, analyze, and correlate data from multiple non-standard sources.Develop and execute detailed Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and documentation in the areas of Unified Communications Engineering.Conduct integration proof of concept testing as required.Provide weekly status reports to managers and stakeholders.Strong expertise in WAN network facilities and protocols.Demonstrated attention to detail and a logical approach to manipulating large data sets.Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.Education/Equivalent:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or an equivalent combination of education, technical training, or work/military experience.Experience:
5+ years of related systems engineering experience in Unified Communications.Location: Customer SiteUS Citizenship Required
