Legal Support Manager
to lead a team of paralegals and legal assistants in a dynamic, fast-paced legal environment. This role is crucial to ensuring smooth operations across complex litigation cases at both the trial and appellate levels. If you're a leader with a keen eye for detail and a knack for driving team performance, this opportunity could be for you.
Legal Support Manager Responsibilities:Manage and coordinate workload for paralegals, legal assistants and admin staff, acting as the main liaison to the attorney teamAdminister all litigation phases including pleadings, motions, discovery, trials and appellate proceduresImplement systems for maintaining case calendars, documents and correspondenceOversee hiring, onboarding and professional growth of legal support staff, fostering skills and efficiencyConduct regular feedback sessions and performance reviews to support individual and team developmentWork with internal departments to streamline processes and develop efficient procedures
Legal Support Manager Requirements:Proven leadership experience with a team of legal support professionals5+ years of experience as a paralegal, with strong multi-jurisdiction litigation skillsSolid understanding of federal and state court procedures and familiarity with CM/ECF, PACER, Bluebook and WestlawBachelor's degree and an ABA-approved Paralegal Certificate preferredExceptional communication, organization and time management skills
