The Warehouse Associate is responsible for the fulfillment and shipment of customer orders.
Forklift, pallet jack, and/or other material handling equipment as part of the distribution process within a fast-paced warehouse settingSorts and places materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, equipment type, model, or part numberEfficiently moves and loads product from staging and/or storage areas into trailersAssembles customer orders from stock, stage orders, and/or conveys orders to packing station or shipping department according to center purchase ordersPerforms proper packing and prep of all outbound orders
Performs QA check for equipment readiness and accuracy
Follow safety regulations while operating equipment
Education and Experience:
High school diploma or G.E.D. requiredPreferred 3 to 6 months experience in a warehouse environment
Training provided as necessary
Previous shipping/distribution and/or warehouse experience preferredMust be able to successfully pass and maintain forklift certificationoperate power industrial equipment as needed
Physical Demands:
The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 60 pounds. This employee will be regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts and can be exposed to extreme heat and extreme cold, including climates consistent with outside weather conditions.
