This role involves supervising lines on the second shift manufacturing team. The Manufacturing Lead will help the team achieve weekly production goals and manufacturing yields, while also operating manufacturing equipment and monitoring manufacturing goals. The lead will ensure the team adheres to all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and related standard operating procedures (SOPs), and maintains good documentation practices. They will also handle staffing needs, assist with staff rotation, break scheduling, and shift transfer. Additionally, the Manufacturing Lead will lead department training activities, maintain compliant training records, and evaluate new manufacturing technology to minimize issues. They will also be responsible for tracking and implementing corrective action protocols.Responsibilities

Supervise second shift manufacturing team and help achieve weekly production goals.Operate manufacturing equipment while monitoring manufacturing goals.Ensure adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and related SOPs.Maintain accurate records and documentation in accordance with Good Documentation Practices (GDP).Support staffing needs and assist with staff rotation, break scheduling, and shift transfer.Lead department training activities and maintain compliant training records.Evaluate and pilot new manufacturing technology to minimize initial and subsequent manufacturing issues.Track and implement corrective action protocols.Minimum Requirements

3 to 5 years of previous related manufacturing experience within a regulated medical device or pharmaceutical environment.Previous lead experience in a manufacturing environment, ideally having led a team of 20 people.Understanding of Good Documentation Practices (GDP), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and Good Laboratory Practices (GLP).Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience with manufacturing processes, assembly, GMP, process improvement, cleanroom, medical device assembly, production management, and packaging.Why Work Here?
