Greenberg Traurig (GT), a global law firm, has an exciting full-time employment opportunity for an Associate in the Litigation Practice of our Albany office. The Albany office focuses on complex and diverse public policy issues in a range of areas including health care, environmental and energy law, economic development, government procurement. gaming and insurance. The litigation practice often represents clients in high profile public policy matters that includes frequent interaction with government agencies. The office also has a nationally recognized First Amendment practice. The ideal candidate will have three to five years of experience representing a range of clients in complex disputes. The candidate also should be experienced with pleadings, motions, and discovery practice, including e-discovery. We are seeking candidates with excellent academic credentials and strong communication and client service skills, as well as the ability to multi-task and manage their time to meet deadlines and complete projects. New York Bar membership is required.

The expected pay range for this position is:
$150,000-$180,000
Salary will be determined based upon education, experience, job related factors permitted by law, internal equity, and market data, including geographic pay differentials in locations where market pay differs from the national average. Full time employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus, health insurance with an optional HSA, short term disability, long term disability, dental insurance, vision care, life insurance, Healthcare and Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts, 401K, vacation, sick time, and an employee assistance program. Additional voluntary programs include: voluntary accident insurance, voluntary life, voluntary disability, voluntary long term care, voluntary critical illness and cancer insurance and pet insurance. Commuter and Transit programs may also be available in certain markets.
