Titan Technologies, LLC (Titan) is seeking an experienced, self-directed, Senior Network Engineer to support the Special Operations Forces Information Technology Enterprise Contract (SITEC) III contract. As a member of our team, you will help to assist USSOCOM, Service Component Commands, Theater Special Operations Commands (TSOC), and deployed forces in the delivery of a full spectrum of Information Technology (IT) services to operate and maintain information flow, communications, and connectivity globally.
The Senior Network Engineer performs Tier three network support in accordance with the SIE OPORD. This position tests and analyzes elements of network facilities.The Sr. Engineer is responsible for planning, modeling, simulation, design, installation, maintenance, management and coordination of the network. This position monitors and controls the performance and status of network resources by using software and hardware tools, as well as by identifying and diagnosing complex problems and factors affecting network performance.Engineers should study vendor products to determine those which best meet the Government's needs.
Duties include but are not limited to:
Provide leadership and direction to a team of technicians providing comprehensive systems/network engineering and architectural planning services.Interfacing with O&M personnel by providing strategic design and support to projects as directed.Provides leadership in the review of existing architectures on a regular basis, recommending and assisting with the design and implementation of systems and network improvements as required.Overseeing systems engineering with a focus on the end-to-end functionality of complex systems ofOverseeing the establishment of service integration, database structure management, active directory services/DNS, Thin/zero client andOverseeing the staff providing data storage with expertise in SANs technologies, NAS technologies, iSCSI, and DASOversee portal/web services with expertise in the design of medium to large enterprise farms, geographical replication, interfacing with external data sources and integration of third- party add-ons.Monitoring PKI/certificate authorityOversee CRMOversee the performance of disaster recovery and backup/restore.Supporting efforts for cybersecurity technology, risks identification and risk mitigation strategies related to cybersecurity, and A&A support documentation in accordance with applicable DoD and IC directives.Oversee the maintenance of LAN, WAN and VoIP infrastructures, voice and data network systems, advanced engineering, and administration of multiprotocol routers, multilayer switches, network security devices and network management systems.Establishing SATCOM with an emphasis on IP satelliteProviding leadership support with Wireless networking, Application delivery networking, Cloud computing, Mobile computing, End Point management, and desktop computingSome positions may require shift work and/or an ability to work a non-standard work schedule to support the USSOCOM missionRequired qualifications:
A DoD clearance is requiredA Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, a Mathematics-intensive discipline, or a similar field.Significant relevant experience will be considered in lieu of formal education.Twelve years of increasingly complex and progressive experience in computer systems and network engineering, including two years of specialized experience related to the candidate's assigned task.DoD 01-M IAT Level II AND two of the following certifications are requiredCertification Requirements:
