The omission of specific statements of the duties does not exclude them from the classification if the work is similar, related, or a logical assignment for this classification. Other duties may be required and assigned.Prepares food items to specifications; peels cuts, chops, dices, slices, minces and prepares ingredient items.Cooks food items according to orders; grills and deep fries food, evaluates and ensures product quality; coordinates food productions and quantities according to business levels. Serves prepared food to customers accurately according to order.Cleans and sanitizes workstation and equipment according to established schedule and specifications; mops floors; scrubs grill and deep fryer; washes pots, pans and other food service equipment.Maintains and operates food service equipment, including soda fountain and ice machine; changes or replenishes as needed.Opens and closes register; receives monies for payment of food and beverages; verifies counts; maintains related and required documentation.Ensures departmental compliance with all applicable codes, laws, rules, regulations, standards, policies and procedures; ensures adherence to established safety procedures; monitors work environment and use of equipment to ensure safety of employees and other individuals; initiates any actions necessary to correct deviations or violations.Prepares or completes various forms, reports, correspondence or other documents as requested or required.Receives various forms, reports, correspondence, recipes, policies, procedures, catalogs, rules or other documentation; reviews, completes, processes, forwards or retains as appropriate.Communicates with supervisor, City employees, sales representatives, the general public, or other individuals as needed to coordinate work activities, review status of work, exchange information, resolve problems, or give/receive advice/direction.Operates cash register, deep fryer, grill, oven, range, steam table, beverage cart, coffee maker, soda machine, or other equipment as necessary to complete essential functions.ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONSPerforms other related duties as required, requested and assigned.Minimum QualificationsMust be at least 16 years of age; must have customer service experience.ADA COMPLIANCEPhysical Ability: Tasks require the regular and, at times, sustained performance of moderately physically demanding work, typically involving walking and standing for extended periods of time; may involve the lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling of moderately heavy objects and materials (20-50 pounds).
