Senior Network IP Engineer

Key Responsibilities:Network Design and Implementation:

Design, implement, and manage advanced IP network architectures, including routing, switching, and security protocols.Develop and deploy scalable network solutions to support high-availability and high-performance requirements.

Network Optimization and Troubleshooting:

Perform in-depth network performance analysis and optimization to enhance efficiency and reliability.Diagnose and resolve complex network issues, including those related to latency, packet loss, and connectivity.

Project Management:

Lead and manage network-related projects from inception to completion, including the coordination of resources and timelines.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate new technologies and services.

Security and Compliance:

Implement and maintain network security measures to safeguard against unauthorized access and cyber threats.Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements related to network infrastructure.

Documentation and Reporting:

Create and maintain comprehensive network documentation, including diagrams, configurations, and standard operating procedures.Provide regular reports and updates on network performance, incidents, and improvements.

Technical Leadership:

Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior network engineers and support staff.Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in network engineering.

Qualifications:Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Network Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications are a plus.Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in network engineering with a focus on IP networking and large-scale service provider network environments.Certifications: Relevant certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, or equivalent are highly desirable.Technical Skills:

Proficiency in network protocols (BGP, OSPF, MPLS, IS-IS, etc.) and technologies (VPN, NAT, QoS, etc.).Hands-on experience with network hardware from major vendors (Cisco, Juniper, Arista, etc.).Strong understanding of network security principles and practices.Strong background in Nokia SROS

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
