Pacific Staffing is recruiting a
Human Resources Generalist
with strong administrative skillsfor a non-profit organization in Sacramento. This position is 100% onsite, direct hire, and a great opportunity to join a mission driven team dedicated to helping the local community. The HR Generalist is responsible for providing comprehensive HR and administrative support including recruitment, benefits administration, compliance, and various other tasks.
Pay: $65k-$68k DOE.
The ideal candidate will have at least three years of administrative human resources experience with strong technical skills and corporate recruiting.
RESPONSIBILITIES:Coordinate the full cycle recruitment process, including job postings, candidate sourcing, interviewing, and selection.Facilitate new employee onboarding and orientation programs.Handle employee inquiries and concerns, providing guidance and resolutions as needed.Administer employee benefit programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other benefits.Assist employees with payroll and benefits-related inquiries and facilitate open enrollment processes.Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations, including EEO, ADA, FMLA, and other applicable laws.Maintain employee records and ensure data accuracy and confidentiality.Maintain and update HR policies and procedures to align with legal requirements and best practices.Communicate and enforce HR policies consistently.Maintain HRIS (Human Resources Information System) data accuracy.QUALIFICATIONS :
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field required.3 years of experience in an administrative human resources position.PHR certification a plus.ADP system experience preferred.Knowledge of employment laws and regulations.Strong verbal and written communication skills.High attention to detail, task oriented and good with numbers.Excellent interpersonal skills.Proficiency in HRIS software and Microsoft Office Suite.Excellent problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities.Ability to assist with recruitment tasks.
