Salesforce and Power BI Reporting Analyst

The Salesforce and Power BI Reporting Analyst is responsible for creating and managing reports and dashboards using Salesforce and Power BI to provide actionable insights and support data-driven decision-making. This role involves working closely with various departments to understand their reporting needs and deliver accurate, timely, and relevant data visualizations.
This position can be hybrid working onsite 2-3 days/week, but must be local to the Des Moines, IA area.

Position Responsibilities may include, but not limited to
Data Analysis and Reporting: Develop and maintain reports and dashboards in Salesforce and Power BI to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and business metricsRequirements Gathering: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document reporting requirements, ensuring alignment with business objectivesSalesforce Administration: Manage Salesforce data, including data imports, exports, and data quality checks; customize Salesforce reports and dashboards to meet user needsPower BI Development: Design and implement Power BI reports and dashboards, integrating data from multiple sources to provide comprehensive insightsData Integration: Ensure seamless integration of data between Salesforce and Power BI, maintaining data accuracy and consistencyProcess Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation in reporting workflows to enhance efficiency and effectivenessTraining and Support: Provide training and support to end-users on how to use Salesforce and Power BI reports and dashboards effectivelyRequired Skills and Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and experience3+ years' experience working in Salesforce and Power BIExperience in a similar role, working with Salesforce and Power BIProficiency in Salesforce report building and Power BI; strong understanding of data modeling, DAX functions, and data visualization, and reporting best practicesAbility to analyze complex data sets and translate them into actionable insightsStrong problem-solving skillsExcellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholdersExperience in managing projects, including planning, execution, and monitoringPreferred Skills and Experience
Salesforce Administrator Certification and Microsoft Certified: Power BI Data Analyst AssociateMS SQL and/or other data visualization toolsHealthcare/Managed Care experience>
Physical Requirements
Repetitive motions that include the wrists, hands and/or fingersSedentary work that primarily involves sitting, remaining in a stationary position for prolonged periodsVisual perception to perform job including peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
