About this Position
The Youth System of Care Grant Coordinator will be responsible for the plan implementation of the Edmond System of Care (ESOC) federal grant program, and providing leadership in all facets of the System of Care development.
This position will develop and manage the federal grant program by creating implementation plans, tracking systems, and evaluating frameworks for actions and projects to ensure successful project completion. This position will also provide overall leadership and direction of the ESOC implementation plan and required activities, and oversee program services, evaluation, and continuous quality improvement efforts.
This position operates as part of the alternative schedule with hours from 7:30 am to 5:30 pm Monday through Thursday, and from 7:30 am to 11:30 am on Friday.
Responsibilities Coordinate on all grant requirements and deadlines as the main contact for the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) Project Officer Develop and monitor all contracts for services and programs required under the grant program Coordinate with the Lead Family Coordinator, key program staff, and partner agencies Convene with cross-system partners through the governance team to develop strategic and sustainability plans Coordinate with the ESOC grant evaluator to develop and track key performance indicators in accordance with project requirements Coordinate formal and informal partners to effectively implement the initiative Work collaboratively with mental health coalitions, collaboratives, partnerships, associations, and other key leaders Coordinate with the grant's required advisory boards and provide regular status reports to appropriate parties Ensure program expenditures are in accordance with all fiscal and administrative requirements in the SAMHSA's CMHI federal grant program Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in social or human services (or a related field)
Graduate degree preferred
4 years of related experience and/or training in a community mental health field with at least three (3) of those years in a child serving system Experience working in a professional environment leading complex projects with a proven record of innovation, performance management, strategic planning, and evaluation
Or
an equivalent combination of training and experience
Valid Oklahoma Driver's License and a driving record acceptable to the City's insurance carrier Necessary Skills
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel Knowledge of the following:
Children's mental health Social service systems and best practices associated with them Strategic planning methods Collective impact and collaboration techniques System changes and their effective implementation approaches and evaluation methods
Strong interpersonal communication skills Ability to understand and influence the behavior of others Strong organizational skills and time management abilities Ability and willingness to use personal vehicle to travel within Oklahoma (mostly in Edmond) Ability to meet the required physical standards for this position Ability to pass extensive background process and pre-employment drug and audio screenings Benefits
