Shipping & Receiving Clerk
in
Gardena, California.
As a
Shipping & Receiving Clerk , you will:
Perform basic shipping and receiving tasks, including loading/unloading trucks, verifying packaging slips, and inspecting order contents.Use skills such as boxing, taping, wrapping, stenciling, and weighing for packaging product for outside processing or shipment.Create and verify shipping documentation, labels, and tracking information for accurate processing.Arrange freight, handle bill of ladings, create commercial invoices, and respond to email/phone inquiries.Schedule : Monday-Friday, overtime and weekends as needed.
The ideal candidate will have:
A high school diploma or equivalent.Experience with FedEx, UPS, and freight carriers.Intermediate knowledge of Excel and ERP/MRP systems (preferably Oracle).Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and effective communication skills.Physical Requirements :
Must be able to stand, walk, and lift/move up to 35 lbs. regularly.Work Environment :
Exposure to moving mechanical parts, weather conditions, and occasionally extreme temperatures.
Eligibility : U.S. person status required per ITAR regulations.
Pay Rate : $19 - $21/hr.
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
