As an experienced Network Engineer (Tier II/III)
you maintain, understand, troubleshoot, and resolve issues with networked systems, servers, workstations and user accounts. Your expert attention provides advanced technical support to ensure the stability and efficiency of IT infrastructure. You handle escalated network/system calls, network configuration, performance monitoring, issue resolution, and documentation maintenance.

This role delivers in our offices here in the Quad Cities.
Requirements
Participate in or lead the planning, configuration, and deployment of new network devices and services, ensuring seamless integration with existing infrastructure and compliance with industry standards and regulations.Research and troubleshoot complex network issue. (eg., routing, switching, firewalls, load balancers, VPNs, and wireless networks)Analyze and resolve calls and/or escalated incidents, ensuring timely resolution to minimize downtime and impacts on business operations.Assist in and/or conduct network assessments and audits to analyze current infrastructure, address capacity for immediate and future needs and provide recommendations for improvements.Implement and maintain security measures to protect the network from internal and external threats.Monitor network performance using advanced tools and techniques, identifying and addressing potential issues proactively to optimize network performance.Create and maintain detailed network documentation, including diagrams, configurations, and procedures. Document best practices, adoption of new technology/tools.Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including providing regular updates on network status, projects, and incidents.

Education and Experience:
•Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field and 3+ years of network experience ORany combination of 7+ years of education and network experience required
•Experience supporting/troubleshooting Windows PCs/Servers, MacOS, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, Printers, Firewalls, Switches, etc. required
•Experience with networking routers, switches, firewalls and load balancers required (e.g., Cisco, Sonicwall, Fortinet, etc.)
•Understanding of network protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, EIGRP) and network services (e.g., DNS, DHCP)
•Experience in network monitoring and diagnostic tools (e.g., Wireshark, PRTG, Domotz) preferred
•Exposure to network security practices, including firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, and encryption preferred
•CompTIA A+ Certification, Network+ Certification, Microsoft Certifications, or other IT Certifications are preferred
•Experience with Google Workspace is a plus
•Experience with cloud networking (AWS, Azure) is a plus
