Overview:
Connection has a fantastic opportunity through our Technical Staffing division for a Network Analyst II in Nashville, TN. This is a Contract to hire opportunity that is Hybrid and offers outstanding benefits.Responsibilities:Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues related to connectivity, latency, and bandwidth utilization.Maintain and administer network infrastructure including routers, switches, firewalls, and other network devices.Implement and maintain security measures to protect the network infrastructure from unauthorized access, data breaches, and other security threats.Participate in the design and optimization of network architecture to ensure scalability, reliability, and performance.Create and maintain documentation of network configurations, procedures, and standards.Work closely with other IT teams, such as systems administrators, security analysts, and software developers, to ensure seamless integration of network services with other IT systems.Respond to network-related incidents and participate in incident response activities to minimize downtime and mitigate risks.Coordinate with vendors and service providers for procurement, maintenance, and support of network equipment and services.Provide training and support to end-users and IT staff on network-related issues and technologies.Min:USD $35.00/Yr.

Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Relevant certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent are a plus.At least 3-5 years of experience in network administration or a related field, with a focus on network troubleshooting and infrastructure management.Proficiency in networking protocols and technologies such as TCP/IP, VLANs, VPNs, DHCP, DNS, etc.Experience with network hardware and software including routers, switches, firewalls, and network management tools.Knowledge of network security best practices and technologies such as firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs, and encryption.Familiarity with network monitoring and troubleshooting tools such as Wireshark, Nagios, or SolarWinds.
