Director of Corporate Accounting

Key Responsibilities:
Financial Consolidations:
Lead the consolidation process for multiple entities across various countries on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis, ensuring accurate intercompany eliminations, including margin eliminations. Prepare accompanying footnotes for financial statements.Month-End Close:
Oversee and manage the monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.Equity Compensation and Incentive Plan Administration:
Oversee the accounting and financial reporting for equity compensation plans, including Restricted Stock Units (RSUs) and the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP), ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and accurate reporting.Treasury & Restricted Cash:
Assist with Treasury operations at the corporate level and ensure accurate calculations for restricted cash.Financial Systems:
Develop a strong understanding of financial systems such as Blackline, various ERPs, and take on a key role in the implementation of OneStream.Technical Accounting:
Assist with researching and resolving complex accounting issues ensuring alignment with GAAP.Audit Coordination:
Act as a key liaison with external auditors during the annual audit process, ensuring timely and accurate responses to audit requests.Compliance:
Ensure the company is in full compliance with all applicable financial regulations and reporting standards. Lead the development of a global accounting handbook.Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, CPA designation required.Experience:
7 years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 3 years in a public accounting firm (Big 4 preferred) or in a publicly traded company.Experience with SEC reporting, SOX compliance, and U.S. GAAP.
Technical Skills:
Strong understanding of technical accounting principles.Experience with financial consolidation and reporting tools
Soft Skills:
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.Strong leadership qualities with a proven track record of mentoring and developing fellow team members.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working within a SOX-compliant environment.Previous experience with an international company, managing foreign currency transactions and multi-entity consolidations.

Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to:
the individual's skill sets, experience and training;licensure and certification requirements;office location and other geographic considerations;other business and organizational needs.
With that said, as required by local law, Vaco believes that the following salary range referenced above reasonably estimates the base compensation for an individual hired into this position in geographies that require salary range disclosure. The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
