Raytheon is hiring a Senior Principal Release Train Engineer to support our teams in Richardson, Texas. You will have the opportunity to directly impact the world around you and contribute to classified programs and technologies you are passionate about. In this position you will be a servant leader and agile coach guiding the work of all Agile Release Teams (ARTs) and suppliers in the value stream.
What You Will DoFacilitate Release/Increment Planning and Execution to include supporting backlog refinement, aligning technical roadmap to Agile train execution strategy and improvements, tracking progress, supporting Risk and Opportunity activities, and promoting DevOps and continuous delivery.Coach Agile Train stakeholders.Host daily Scrum of Scrum, weekly Solution Sync, and retrospective meetings.Demonstrate critical thinking skills with the ability to communicate concepts and ideas well.Use proven problem solving and analytical skills.The ability to obtain and maintain SCI program access and complete polygraphs.Qualifications You Must Have
Typically requires a Bachelor's in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 10 years of prior relevant experience.Experience managing software development teams.Experience using Atlassian Jira or Confluence.Agile experience as a Scrum Master or Product Owner.Active and transferable U.S. government issued Top Secret security clearance is required prior to start date. The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued TS/SCI security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.Qualifications We Prefer
Security+ Certification (Must be obtained within 60 days of start).Experience managing software development teams on Government contractsAgile execution experience as a Scrum Master or Product OwnerSAFe 5 certification (RPC, RTE, PO)Experience as a Release Train Engineer (RTE)Experience successfully managing agile costs and schedule baselines using Earned Value Management System (EVMS) techniquesExperience reporting program status, metrics, risks, opportunities, and staffing needs to Engineering and business leadershipWhat We Offer

The salary range for this role is 118,000 USD - 246,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays.
