Position Summary
The HR Generalist is responsible for providing timely, accurate and effective information, support and administration of HR functions. The HR Generalist will work with the Human Resources team to provide excellent service to our employees throughout the firm.
Key Areas of Responsibility
New Hire Documentation - review and oversight of Offer PackagesChecking new hire loads in ADP to ensure accuracyAdminister/Approve benefits including enrollments for new hires, changes for current employees and assist with Open EnrollmentAdminister/Approve Educational Assistance Applications and Referral BonusesData Integrity - ensuring data is correct in the systemProcess Termination paperwork not limited to Severance Agreements, manage communication with payroll regarding terminationsAdminister Stay Interviews and Exit Interviews as requestedAssist with HR investigations, including fact finding and note takingAssist with Performance Management - including reviewing record of counseling's and performance improvement plansAssist employees by guiding them through self-service options for the HRIS SystemsProcess Employee Verifications and income reportsAssist employees with recording and validating their PTODetermine when a situation should be escalated to the Senior Associates or HRBPsProvide clerical and administrative support to the HR teamAssist the HR Team with various research projects and/or special projects as neededAssist with employee questions and concerns by phone and HR Team MailboxCore Competencies
Well-developed oral and written communication skillsJob/Performance Expectations
Positive and helpful attitude towards employeesDiscreet, professional attitude while handling sensitive informationKnowledge of computer programs such as outlook, excel and word and proficiency with spreadsheets and word processing.Adaptable and motivated to learnDiplomatic problem solver and results-drivenWritten and verbal communication skills (in person and on phone)Ability to work independently and with a teamAbility to multi-taskRequired Education and Experience
Bachelor's Degree in relevant field preferred2-3 years of Human Resources experience preferred
