LinQuest is seeking a Navy Acquisition Support Specialist to join our team in San Diego, CA. An active Secret clearance is required.

LinQuest is seeking a qualified Mid-Level Acquisition Support Specialist with experience supporting DoD SATCOM acquisition to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and managing logistics activities to support DoD SATCOM acquisition efforts. The position requires a high level of attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with other team members.

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement logistics plans and procedures for DoD SATCOM acquisition efforts, ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations and policies.Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of equipment and supplies needed to support SATCOM acquisition efforts.Assist the program office in the early planning, development, implementation, and management of a comprehensive, cost-effective total life cycle support of SATCOM systems.Provide supportability planning and implementation to meet the program's acquisition needs, associated product support requirements, and sustainment processes .Support new acquisition product requirements, participation in logistics planning and technical reviews; development of Contractual Statement of Work (SOW), Engineering Change Proposals (ECP) and Technical Directives, Logistics Requirements Funding Summary (LRFS), Maintenance Planning data, supply support and provisioning requirements, training requirements; support equipment requirements, reviewing Interactive Technical Manuals (IETM) for completeness and accuracy, readiness degrader metrics, cost saving initiatives, readiness improvements and provide logistics support throughout the sustainment lifecycle.Develop, review, or update of Life-Cycle Logistics Support Requirements: Life Cycle Sustainment Plans (LCSP) User's Logistics Support Summary (ULSS), Life-Cycle Cost Estimates (LCCE), Logistics Requirements Funding Summaries (LRFS), Independent Logistics Assessment (ILA) checklists, and other milestone-required documentation.Develop, review, or update program Business Case Analysis (BCA), Statement of Work (SOW), Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL).Maintain logistics instructions, directives, and policies and support all logistics data calls.Support Staff meetings, Technical Review Boards, Configuration Control Boards (CCB), program engineering meetings, Integrated Product Team (IPT), working groups, training events, Fleet Support Teams (FST), program reviews, System Engineering Technical Reviews (SETR), System Readiness Reviews (SRRs) as required.Develop and revise ILS Checklist and Certifications for Ship Alterations (SHIPALTs), Engineering Changes, and Software changes.Maintain the Model Based Product Support (MBPS) and/or its predecessors Configuration Data Managers Database-Open Architecture (CDMD-OA) and Technical Data Management Information System (TDMIS) database for all systems' configurations for program of record and project systems.Provide input/Review Interactive Computer-Aided Provisioning System (ICAPS) compatible provisioning package for creation or update of system APLsCoordinate with Echelon III to provide logistics-related information to ILS products including ILS Technical Manual (TM) development, Quick Reference Guides, Preventative MaintenanceDevelop, submit, and revise nomenclature requests/packages utilizing Joint Electronics Type Designation Automated System (JETDAS)Provide input/review program Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) to reflect logistics-related milestones.Develop required logistics input for briefs and other logistics documentation necessary to fully support program of record and project systems.Participate in all aspects of ILS Program planning, research and development, design, budgeting, acquisition, delivery, and scheduling to establish database tracking in MS Excel and Office.Perform logistics technical data development and maintenance, supply support, and spare material inventory management developing/updating ILS databases in MS Excel.Support the development and update of Navy Training Support Plan (NTSP), Technical Manuals, PMS documentation, provisioning, and training curriculum.Collaborates with Integrated Program Team Leads, financial personnel, and program contractors to identify and acquire funding to achieve logistics program objectives.Participate and provide recommendations in the analytical processes that determines supportability requirements and resources necessary to sustain SATCOM systems and equipment throughout the system life cycle.Generate briefs to indicate the sustainment approach for assigned systems.Coordinate with other team members to ensure timely completion of project tasks.Provide logistical support for testing and evaluation of SATCOM equipment and systems.Coordinate with government agencies and prime contractors to ensure compliance with DFARS requirements related to logistics and supply chain management.Required Skills and Experience:

Bachelor's degreeKnowledge and implementation of DoDI 5000 series Adaptive Acquisition Framework (AAF) with the defined pathways for acquisition approaches including Middle Tier Acquisition (MTA).Understanding of SECNAVINST 5000.2G and the Defense Acquisition University (DAU) for supporting the Government Product Support Manager (PSM) and meeting the functional areas for the system/equipment design interface and system life cycle resource planning, encompassing acquisition and sustainment activities in developing the Life Cycle Sustainment Plan (LCSP).1+ years of experience supporting DoD acquisition efforts.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.US Citizenship and the ability to obtain a SECRET clearance are required for the positionPreferred Skills:

Knowledge of transportation and customs regulations.Proficiency with logistics management software and databases.Experience supporting DoD SATCOM acquisition efforts.

Compensation:

The starting salary for this position ranges from $85,000 to $95,000 depending on relevant experience and qualifications.
