Counterintelligence Officer V (CIO)
to join our intelligence program supporting a key government customer. These individuals will fuse intelligence information from multiple intelligence disciplines by conducting all-source intelligence research, risk analysis, report writing, operational concept development, and stakeholder engagement. The ideal candidate will have some knowledge with how to research, write, and analyze using the customer’s tools and databases, strong briefing and writing skills, and comfort with presenting reports to all levels of customer management. The ability to think critically and communicate complex information accurately while working in a collaborative team environment is necessary.The Counterintelligence Officer V shall possess the following capabilities:Respond to field requests and draft communications to preserve/support operational equities.Communicate and support operational requirements; provide interface between customer equities at home, in the field, and with other agencies on a geographic or transnational issue.Manage and track cases; draft, coordinate, and/or monitor intelligence reports and production; provide timely guidance, including identifying risks and proposing mitigation strategies.Conduct research and analysis using customer tools and databases; and demonstrate knowledge and/or proficiency in a geographical area or substantive issue.Coordinate complex issues and actions across the customer organization and the broader Defense Community.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree or 5 years of relevant customer work experience in lieu of degreeDirect work experience requisite with Labor Category Level (20+ years for level 5)Customer-specific writing experience.Experience with HUMINT sources and collections.Understanding of offensive and defensive counterintelligence methods.Familiarity with the concepts involved in CI risk analysis including insider threat detection.Knowledge of and experience in the fundamentals of intelligence operations to include risk assessment.At least 2 total overseas tours (CONUS or OCONUS) or 4 years’ worth of TDY experienceDesired Qualifications:Experience in Intelligence Operations / Analysis / Support to Field OperationsExperience identifying targeting leads through the exploitation of all-source databases.Experience using customer databases to monitor field traffic and communicate with field offices.Formal CI training and/ or certificationOverseas experience supporting collection operations and information sharing.Position requires active Security Clearance with appropriate PolygraphHeadquartered in Columbia, MD, RealmOne provides advanced technology services and solutions focused on cybersecurity, intelligence collection and analysis, data science and advanced analytics, and hyper-automation to support our country’s most critical national security initiatives.We're an equal opportunity employer.
