The Social Work program at the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh seeks applicants for a full-time, academic-year, tenure-track, Assistant Professor beginning fall 2025. The successful candidate will teach core curriculum in both the Bachelor of Social Work and Master of Social Work programs. Potential courses will include micro and macro practice, ethics, diversity, policy, research methods, and field seminars in live and hybrid modes. They will provide academic advisement to undergraduate students and engage in service to the Department, University, and the social work profession. The candidate will engage in scholarship, including publishing and seeking internal/external funding.Responsibilities:
Responsibilities for this position include teaching undergraduate and graduate courses, conducting research, and performing service. The successful candidate needs to have a proven capacity to collaborate and work as a team member, strong potential for excellence in research and scholarly growth, and interest in pursuing internal or external funded research.Qualifications:Required:An earned Doctorate in Social Work or a related field conferred by the start of the appointment.An MSW degree with a minimum of two years of post-MSW social work practice experience.Background or experience necessary to teach across multiple modalities at the undergraduate and graduate levels in at least two of the following areas: social work micro/macro practice, policy, ethics, diversity, human behavior in the social environment, or research methods.Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.Preferred:Minimum of two years of clinical practice experience.Record of commitment in research and other scholarly activity.To Apply:
