We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sourcing Manager, responsible for external contract manufacturing organizations (CMO), to join our Life Cycle Management and Sourcing team at Padagis.

Note:

This position is eligible for a hybrid workplace arrangement requiring three days per week on-site at our Minneapolis facility in New Hope, MN

The Sourcing Manager, External CMO, will lead crucial site-to-site technology transfers and API qualifications with CMOs, ensuring production supply continuity and compliance with quality standards. They will also negotiate strategic MSAs and manage critical sourcing for our Minnesota manufacturing site, driving cost-effectiveness and continuous improvement. The person in this role is expected to be a leader that drives performance in a "virtual site" concept (non-Padagis sites) and that has exposure to supplier relationship management, building strong and trustworthy partnerships.

Job duties:

Lead and manage site-to-site technology transfers to ensure seamless production and supply chain continuityPartner with Quality and Regulatory teams to qualify Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (APIs) for externally manufactured products, ensuring they meet our stringent quality standards and regulatory requirementsNegotiate MSAs with Contract Manufacturing Organizations (CMOs), focusing on favorable terms that align with our strategic sourcing objectivesAddress critical sourcing needs for our Minnesota manufacturing site, ensuring uninterrupted supply and cost-effectivenessCollaborate with cross-functional teams to support product development and lifecycle management - in particular the External Supply Chain Management teamDevelop and maintain strong relationships with CMOs, fostering partnerships that enhance our operational agility and market responsivenessDrive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize sourcing processes and reduce costs without compromising qualitySince its beginning, Padagis has been undergoing the process of identifying what we believe will lead to the success of our organization in a competitive landscape. Seven or more (7+) years of directly related experienceBachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experienceDemonstrated experience in pharmaceutical sourcing, with a focus on external manufacturing and supplier relationship managementStrong understanding of cGMP, FDA, DEA, and other relevant pharmaceutical regulationsExcellent negotiation skills with a track record of successful MSA negotiationsAbility to manage complex projects involving multiple stakeholders and tight deadlinesStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail and process optimizationExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building and maintaining effective working relationshipsProven leadership skills with experience managing the activities/actions of external supply partners
