This position is also responsible for assessing stop conditions, interacting with the public to resolve problems with bus routes, stops, bus operation, and passenger conflicts. The Street Supervisor will intervene during service interruptions and advise dispatch and Operations Supervisor about route conditions. This position may be needed to participate with new operator training in the absence of the Operations Supervisor.Minimum Requirements:Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent, and equivalent vocational training.Relevant knowledge and expertise in related field. Certifications and/or specialized training preferred.Must have three (3) years of experience in the transit field, or any combination of training, education, and experience which demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of this position.Employees of the City of Danville are expected to be honest, courteous, and helpful to the public and handle matters in confidence. The City Council has adopted a “Code of Ethics” that is applicable to all employees and officers of the City.
