Role:

Delmock Technologies, Inc. is seeking an experienced Senior ServiceNow Developer to lead the design, development, and implementation of advanced solutions that optimize workflows and enhance user experiences on the ServiceNow platform. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for creating custom applications, integrating business systems, and automating processes to deliver exceptional service management solutions. You will leverage your expertise in ServiceNow to develop scalable and efficient applications, enhance existing workflows, and troubleshoot complex issues to ensure seamless system performance.

Responsibilities:

Develops and maintains internal applications, integrations, related web services and optimization of applications on all platforms.

Ensures that projects and operational goals are carried out by performing assigned duties personally or through subordinates.

Leads and coordinates different teams that create or use the company's business applications and platforms.

Oversees code updates and may take on different roles as they help colleagues design, develop, test and release software.

Interacts with all levels of company employees, and with outside customers, suppliers, contractors and others.

Translates business requirements into functional application specifications using contemporary best practices.

Pro-actively identifies opportunities to offer an improved experience to users by developing a deep understanding of end-to-end business processes and functions.

Creates architecture and design documentation including support documentation and update of existing documentation.

Analyzes business requirements and translates them into technical specifications for ServiceNow solutions.

Designs and develops custom applications and modules on the ServiceNow platform.

Configures and customizes existing ServiceNow applications, including Service Catalog, Incident Management, Change Management, and Problem Management.

Develops and maintains workflows, forms, and user interfaces to improve user experience and efficiency.

Integrates ServiceNow with other business systems using APIs and web services.

Creates and maintains scripts to automate tasks and processes within ServiceNow.

Develops and maintains reports and dashboards to provide insights into ServiceNow data.

Troubleshoots and resolves ServiceNow issues and incidents reported by users.

Provides technical support and guidance to ServiceNow users.

Collaborates with business analysts, stakeholders, and other IT team members to gather requirements and ensure successful project delivery.

Stays up to date on the latest ServiceNow features, releases, and best practices.

Participates in ServiceNow training and certification programs to enhance skills and knowledge.

Adheres to ServiceNow development best practices and coding standards.

Conducts code reviews to ensure quality and maintainability of ServiceNow applications.

Contributes to the development and maintenance of ServiceNow documentation, including design specifications, user guides, and training materials.

Participates in ServiceNow testing and quality assurance activities.

Assists in the deployment and migration of ServiceNow applications.

Monitors the performance and health of ServiceNow instances.

Implements security measures to protect ServiceNow data and applications.

Contributes to the continuous improvement of ServiceNow processes and workflows.

Researches and evaluates new ServiceNow technologies and tools.

Provides recommendations for optimizing ServiceNow performance and scalability.

Participates in ServiceNow community forums and events.

Shares knowledge and expertise with other ServiceNow developers.

Mentors junior ServiceNow developers and provides guidance on best practices.

Contributes to the creation of ServiceNow knowledge base articles and FAQs.

Assists in the development of ServiceNow training programs for end-users.

Supports the implementation of ServiceNow governance and compliance policies.

Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university with a major in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics or a related field.

At least ten (10) years of professional job-related experience with a bachelor’s degree or eight (8) years with a master’s degree.

Must have experience managing a portfolio of complex initiatives that span one or multiple stakeholders or businesses.

Must have expert knowledge and experience in SQL queries and database design.

Must have good verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to work in a dynamic work environment.

Must have experience in test driven development.

Must have experience with a variety of technologies such as multi-tiered applications, databases, LDAP and directory services, application servers, network infrastructure, and understanding security and dataflow within these components.

Must have expert skills in developing architecture diagrams and technical designs.

Must have experience ensuring that business engineering standards are applied by all parties involved in projects and deliveries.

Preferred/Nice to Have Skills:

Advanced Degree.

Five (5) years of proven experience as a ServiceNow Developer with a strong understanding of the platform's architecture and capabilities.

Experience in water and wastewater industry understanding of oracle utility applications.

Demonstrated experience working on large-scale projects in diverse team environments with a focus on ServiceNow development tools and techniques, including scripting in JavaScript, Jelly, and AngularJS.

Strong understanding of ITIL framework and best practices. Service Now Modules: Experience with ServiceNow modules such as ITSM, ITOM, ITBM and CSM.

Experience integrating ServiceNow with other systems using APIs, web services, and middleware technologies.

Ability to design and implement automated workflows to streamline processes.

Familiarity with cloud computing concepts and platforms (e.g., Azure).

ServiceNow Platform Expertise: Hands-on experience with ServiceNow development tools and techniques.

Clearance:

The ability to pass a background check is needed.
