Role:

Delmock Technologies, Inc. is seeking an Application Development Expert that specializes in Oracle WAM to provide guidance and functional expertise for the on-premises installation of Oracle WAM, which will include configurations, customizations, process improvements, enhancements, and implementations to meet client-specific requirements. The candidate will assist the senior specialists with troubleshooting and supporting Oracle WAM by resolving technical issues and ensuring system stability. The candidate will be familiar with the Oracle Utilities Application Framework (OUAF).

Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain internal applications, integrations, related web services and optimization of applications on all platforms.

Ensure that projects, support, and operational goals are accomplished by performing assigned duties personally or through subordinates.

Lead and coordinate different teams that create or use the company's business applications and platforms.

Oversee code updates and may take on different roles as they help colleagues design, develop, test, and release software.

Interact with all levels of company employees, outside customers, suppliers, contractors and others.

Translate business requirements into functional application specifications using contemporary best practices.

Identify opportunities to offer an improved experience to users by developing a deep understanding of end-to-end business processes and functions.

Create architecture and design documentation including support documentation and update of existing documentation.

Support implementation and maintenance of Oracle WAM.

Collaborate with key stakeholders to elicit requirements and processes.

Design software solutions that adhere to programming best practices.

Develop customized database programs to enhance COTS products.

Create and maintain integrations to external applications.

Perform unit testing to validate solutions; assist with user acceptance testing.

Follow change management procedures to migrate new solutions to Production.

Provide production support by troubleshooting and resolving identified issues.

Follow service level agreement (SLA) metrics when resolving production issues.

Collaborate with the IT team to deliver secure solutions on schedule and budget.

Mitigate security vulnerabilities by working with IT Security and COTS vendors.

Work with COTS vendors to support, maintain, and upgrade applications.

Configure maintenance objects and business objects in Oracle WAM.

Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university with a major in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics or a related field. At least ten (10) years of professional job-related experience with a bachelor’s degree or eight (8) years with a master’s degree.

Experience managing a portfolio of complex initiatives that span one or multiple stakeholders or businesses.

Expert knowledge and experience in SQL queries and database design.

Good verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to work in a dynamic work environment.

Experience in test-driven development.

Experience with a variety of technologies such as multi-tiered applications, databases, LDAP and directory services, application servers, network infrastructure, and understanding security and data flow within these components.

Expert skills in developing architecture diagrams and technical designs.

Experience ensuring that business engineering standards are applied by all parties involved in projects and deliveries.

Preferred/Nice to Have Skills:

Master’s degree preferred.

Experience working on complex initiatives that span multiple stakeholders or businesses.

Knowledge and experience in SQL queries and database design.

Good verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work in a dynamic work environment.

Experience in test-driven development.

Five (5) years of hands-on experience in Oracle WAM. Experience with various technologies such as multi-tiered applications, databases, LDAP, and application servers.

Expert skills in developing architecture diagrams and technical designs.

Proficiency with SQL programming languages, Oracle SQL Developer or TOAD, Oracle WAM, Oracle Utilities Application Framework, SharePoint, ServiceNow, Office products (Word, Excel).

Clearance:

The ability to pass a background check is required.
