$15.00 - $16.50/hourAbout this opportunityKey ResponsibilitiesThe qualified candidate will

monitor the activity of program participants on an assigned shift ensuring safety, security, and compliance to Shelter rules

.Maintains accurate and complete records and logs containing information.Ensure that the Shelter is maintained in a neat and proper order.What we are looking for in you:Knowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesKnowledge of general office procedures and practices. Knowledge of basic recordkeeping practices and procedures. Ability to communicate effectively with program participants in order to control, lead and motivate behavior. Ability to work with the public encompassing all types of behaviors. Ability to work independently and with limited supervision enforcing established policies and procedures.Education and ExperienceHigh School

Diploma and one (1) year experience performing security or working with vulnerable population; OR any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.Licenses and CertificationsNonePhysical, Mental Requirements and Working ConditionsAbility to meet attendance requirements. Ability to read, write, and communicate the English language. Ability to respond to emergency situations quickly and calmly while maintaining control and initiating the proper corrective action.Ability to perform combinations of sitting, standing, and walking on a frequent change basis.
