Location: Tampa Area Command, Tampa, FLPosition Type: Full-TimePay Range: $16.00 - $17.11About this opportunity:This position is responsible for providing an advanced level of direct services in a long-term shelter environment (three months or more). Key responsibilities:Model leadership to other Resident Monitors in the duties of maintaining order, rule compliance, and ensuring a safe and drug-free environment.Works collaboratively with other staff to provide quality services and maintaining a therapeutic community. Accepts and processes residents into HMIS (Homeless Management Information System) in order for them to stay in lodge/shelter overnight.Monitors the activity of residents on an assigned shift ensuring safety, security, and compliance to behavioral expectations.Maintains accurate and complete records and logs containing pertinent information.Ensures that lodge is maintained in a neat and proper order.What we are looking for in you:High School diploma or G.E.D. ANDFour years of related experience in the social service field with six months of supervisory experience ORAny equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:Work is performed in a lodge/shelter facility where there are little or no physical discomforts associated with changes in weather or discomforts associated with noise, dust, dirt, and the like.
