Job Title:Senior Financial Systems Analyst (Remote/hybrid eligible: AZ, KS, MO, NM, NV)
Job Description:Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Analyze and troubleshoot issues within various system applications for the organization.
Write, maintain and execute SQL queries to extract and transform financial data to meet reporting and process requirements.
Design and develop reports and dashboards.
Maintain interface with various financial applications to ensure data integrity and consistency.
Assist with the implementation and ongoing maintenance of financial systems.
Perform data analysis to identify trends and opportunities for financial improvement.
Reconcile financial data to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
Generate and maintain financial reports as needed.
Support the Finance team with various financial system tasks and report requirements.
Document financial processes and procedures.
Stay current with industry best practices and new financial technologies.
Maintain a strong understanding of financial accounting principles.
Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.
Collaborate with internal departments, such as accounting and IT, to ensure seamless financial operations.
Perform other accounting, finance and reporting related projects as assigned.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Proven experience working with financial systems, such as financial, banking and reporting applications.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in SQL and data transformation skill techniques.
Working knowledge of financial accounting principles.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Supervisory Responsibilities

Education and/or Experience
Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting or related field.
Minimum 5 years of experience as a Financial Systems Analyst or similar role.
Proven experience working with financial applications such as PeopleSoft and various Report writing tools (i.e. SAP Business Intelligence Report Writer, Crystal Reports).
Computer and Software Skills
Advanced skills in MS Office.
Google applications.
Strong technical skills in SQL, data analysis and system analysis.
Basic technical skills regarding Multi-Dimensional Cube (OLAP Cubes) including Reporting.
