Coordinator, Athletics Facilities
Description:The Facilities Coordinator will assist with all aspects of the Retriever Activities Center and assist in the operation of the Retrievers Athletics program.

Position Overview:
The Facilities Coordinator will assist with all aspects of the Retriever Activities Center and assist in the operation of the Retrievers Athletics program.
Responsibilities:
The Facilities Coordinator will assist with all aspects of the operation and maintenance of the Retriever Activities Center (RAC) and to assist in the operation of the Retriever Athletics program.Specific duties include:Hiring, scheduling and supervising recreation student staffProviding customer service to students, staff and community membersRecreation scheduling, planning and documenting workAssist coordinating work with facilities and campus police in following safety code and proceduresAssist managing the entire RAC including but not limited to recreation courts, fitness studio, weight room, aquatics facility, CEIA facility, Retriever Soccer Park, UMBC Stadium, UMBC Baseball & Softball Fields (as assigned)Processing membershipsUpdating the recreation websiteOpening and closing the building based on varying schedulesServing as the assistant scheduling coordinator for 25LiveAssisting with locker rentalsServe as the Equipment Manager for the UMBC Men's / Women's Swimming & Diving Program (Varsity)
Required Minimum Qualifications:
Requires a Bachelor's Degree and one year of experience in event coordination, facilities operations and management or related area.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in large athletic facilities including an aquatics area, weight room, indoor track, fitness studio is preferred.Three years of related experience preferred.CPR, AED, First Aid, Pool Operator Certificates preferred.Supervisory experience preferred.
