Inter Miami CF is seeking a highly motivated and professional Merchandise General Manager to oversee all merchandise operations within the stadium. This role is critical in ensuring the success of the merchandise program, which includes the stadium store, additional sales locations, and kiosks throughout the stadium and concourse. The Merchandise General Manager will be responsible for leading a team, maximizing sales, and delivering the best customer experience while aligning with the values of Inter Miami CF. This role requires a passion for process excellence, a drive for results, and the ability to lead, influence and develop their team.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Oversee the entire merchandise operation at the stadium, including the stadium store, kiosks, and pop-up sales locations.
Drive merchandise sales by ensuring the highest level of customer service and engagement at all touchpoints, focusing on maximizing revenue and customer satisfaction.
Lead and manage the merchandise team, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance management, to create a cohesive and efficient team.
Oversee inventory levels, including warehousing, storage, and stock management, ensuring the right product mix is available at all times.
Ensure all areas of loss prevention are effectively managed, including inventory control and theft prevention. Train and educate team members on loss prevention protocols and best practices to minimize risk and maintain a secure retail environment.
Develop and maintain attractive and strategic product displays that maximize sales and align with the brand's image.
Manage the logistics of merchandise delivery and storage to ensure smooth operations, including collaboration with vendors and warehouse staff.
Maintain and optimize POS systems, ensuring efficiency in transactions and reporting.
Work with the executive team to manage budgets, control costs, and report on financial performance.
Act as a brand ambassador for Inter Miami CF, ensuring merchandise operations reflect the club's professionalism and values.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
Proven experience in retail management, preferably in a stadium or sports environment.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
Expertise in inventory management, sales, and merchandising.
Excellent organizational, communication, and customer service skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
Excellent organization and time management skills.
Due to the nature of this role, the candidate must be willing to work non-traditional hours, weekends, and game days.
Proficiency in Spanish is highly preferred.
Local candidates are preferred.
