TScan Therapeutics is a clinical-stage biotech seeking to revolutionize life-changing therapeutics for patients by identifying novel T cells and epitopes. We are looking for an experienced supply chain professional to join our team as a Senior Supply Chain Planner. The Sr. SC Planner will be tasked with overseeing and managing the flow of goods and materials essential for clinical manufacturing, and ensuring that the supply chain operates reliably, efficiently, and cost-effectively.Reporting to the Associate Director of Supply Chain, the ideal candidate should have relevant experience in production or material planning within a GMP environment, strong knowledge of SC processes, and familiarity with relevant inventory management systems. A team player with a sense of urgency will thrive in this role.RESPONSIBILITIES:Transform the master production schedule (MPS) into a rough-cut capacity plan (RCCP), and production schedule to proactively identify resource constraints, bottlenecks, and resource workloads. Collaborate closely with manufacturing and master scheduling teams to devise effective capacity mitigation strategies.Oversee and document all modifications to the production schedule, providing variance reports against the established budget. Assist in assessing the availability of open production slots and communicating this information to key stakeholders. Work alongside the Master Scheduler to manage clinical slot reservations and evaluate any changes.Deliver key performance metrics and reports on schedule adherence, capacity utilization, resource plan and other schedule.Preparation of daily, weekly, schedule assignments and completion of all related manufacturing activities.Develop and implement material management strategies that align with corporate objectives while overseeing the entire plan-to-procure lifecycle. Address material alignment challenges with suppliers promptly and effectively.Foster and strengthen supplier relationships to secure a consistent supply and optimize inventory investments, thereby minimizing risk.Analyze clinical trends to inform demand and supply models, collaborating with the Master Production Scheduler to create predictive models. Utilize innovative planning tools to reduce supply risks, optimize inventory investment, improve forecasting accuracy, and minimize excess, expiration, and obsolescence (EE&O) across various clinical programs.Evaluate daily material status to ensure availability for clinical production needs, successfully achieving performance metrics. Conduct activities related to re-order points and buffer stock sizing.Coordinate and manage materials for new clinical programs, collaborating with key stakeholders to prioritize materials and align roadmaps.Deliver key performance metrics and reports on inventory levels, months of coverage, expiration dates, overdue purchase orders, and other supply chain risk assessments. Collaborate with teams to implement mitigation strategies aimed at enhancing supply chain resilience.Coordinate with the material management team for the confirmation of bill of material (BOM) records as well as the return of materials if unused.Ensure master data of BOM materials is up to date with accurate pricing, unit of measure, material number, and changes are tracked and assessed for impact.REQUIREMENTS:A bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, business, or engineering from an accredited institution.Minimum of 5 years of experience in production or material planning within a GMP manufacturing environment.Practical experience in a cGMP or regulated setting is crucial.Strong knowledge of supply chain processes and familiarity with relevant inventory management systems; experience with Net Suite is a plus.Certifications in supply chain management, such as ASCM, are beneficial.Proven experience in production planning and scheduling, including key components like materials requirement planning, bill of materials, and inventory management.
