And we offer you the freedom to be a positive disrupter and turn big ideas into bold, industry-changing realities.Business Development – Corporate Solutions for Alternative Asset ManagementThe Role & Key Responsibilities:Drive new client acquisitions in the USA and increase revenue for the firm’s Global corporate solutions offering and integrated businesses.Build, manage and progress a pipeline of new business opportunities, including prospects with high M&A activity and take-away business from competitors.Lead sales process from end to end, including identifying prospects, coordinating meetings and presentations, preparing proposals and managing deal teams.Build on an existing network of investment managers, fund sponsors, trustees, legal & tax counsels, auditors, and other key influencers.Champion cross-sell initiatives across services lines and geographies to drive new sales into our existing client base.Collaborate with colleagues across regions and areas of specialization to achieve business objectives.Ensure robust knowledge of Apex’s offering and value proposition.Grow the Apex brand and reputation across the region.Work closely with and build strong collaborative relationships with marketing, client onboarding, operations, legal, and other functions.Follow internal sales and non-sales process and compliance requirements, including management reporting, Salesforce maintenance, attendance at internal meetings, assistance with onboarding as required, to ensure agreed project deliverables are met.Skills Required:5+ years relevant experience in corporate and/or financial services, global entity management, or ability to demonstrate relevant experience.A strong existing network of fund managers, sponsors, trustees, law firms, and other influencers preferred.Knowledge of financial markets and asset management.Strong self-confidence, strategic mind to lead and/or contribute to discussion with various stakeholders at senior levels.Able to sell complex solutions to clients, and apply relationship management and analytical skills to handle client requests/objections in an appropriate manner.Demonstrated sales skills and ability to consistently deliver on sales targets.Strong verbal and written skills are essential.Experience with CRM systems (Salesforce preferred), KPI tracking, and internal stakeholders.Possess a strong work ethic, as well as uncompromising integrity.Educated to degree level, relevant professional qualifications beneficial.
