Redeemer Church in Brady, Texas is seeking its first full-time youth director to grow its youth ministry (50 to camp this year). This leader will get to be a part of a thriving gospel-centered, missional church in a small-town context, learning all aspects of ministry. As a Youth director, you will lead and shepherd the church’s youth ministry, guiding young people in their spiritual growth and helping them develop a deeper relationship with God. You will create and implement programs, activities, and events that engage and inspire youth to live out their faith and follow the way of Jesus.

Responsibilities
Develop and implement a comprehensive youth ministry that includes discipleship, worship, community, prayer, and outreach.Build relationships with youth and their families, providing spiritual guidance, counseling, and support as needed.Consistently be in the School System building relationships with students, teachers, coaches, and administrators.Plan and lead monthly gatherings, Gospel Communities, Youth Camps, and other activities that promote spiritual growth and community.Recruit, train, and support volunteer leaders to assist in youth ministry activities and events.Coordinate with church leadership to integrate youth ministry into the overall mission and vision of the church.Collaborate with other church staff and ministries to facilitate intergenerational connections and opportunities for youth involvement.Provide Discipleship to youth, offering guidance and support through life’s challenges and transitions.Communicate regularly with parents and church leadership about youth ministry activities, events, and goals.Requirements
A deep love for Jesus and healthy practice of spiritual disciplines.Bachelor’s degree in theology, ministry, or a related field (preferred).Previous experience working with youth in a church or ministry setting.Strong personal faith and commitment to Christian discipleship.Communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with youth and relate to their experiences and concerns.Leadership ability, with a passion for mentoring and equipping young people to practice the way of Jesus.Creative and innovative thinker, with the ability to develop engaging and relevant programming for youth.Ability to collaborate effectively with others and work as part of a team.Understanding of and adherence to the beliefs, values, and practices of Redeemer Church.Housing ProvidedRetirement benefits (Church will match up to 3%)Opportunities for professional development and continuing educationNote: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
