Our mission is simple yet profound: to love God, love people, and share the gospel. Through worship, fellowship, and community engagement, we foster growth and maturity in believers, welcome non-believers to salvation, and work toward the betterment of our community and the world.POSITION OVERVIEW:We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Youth Pastor/Director to lead our middle and high school ministry. The ideal candidate will have a heart for youth ministry and a desire to help students know, grow, and flourish in their relationship with Jesus Christ.ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:
Active, growing personal relationship with Jesus ChristValid Washington State driver's licenseMust pass a nationwide background checkStrong leadership and communication skillsExperience working with middle and high school studentsDemonstrated ability to build relationships with youth and their familiesPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s degree preferredPrevious youth ministry experienceCommitment to ongoing theological educationKEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develop and implement engaging youth ministry programsMentor and disciple students in their faith journeyBuild relationships with parents and familiesCollaborate with church leadership and volunteer teamsCreate safe, inclusive environments for spiritual growthPlan and lead youth events, activities, and mission opportunitiesREQUIRED COMPETENCIES:
Strong spiritual maturity and ability to provide guidanceExcellence in verbal and written communicationCreative approach to youth ministry and program developmentDemonstrated emotional maturity and stabilityStrong problem-solving and conflict-resolution skillsAbility to work effectively with diverse groupsTeam player with strong collaborative skillsSelf-motivated with excellent organizational abilitiesPERSONAL QUALITIES:
