Overview

East West Bank is seeking a Senior IT Process Risk and Compliance Analyst to join our IT Operations Risk Management team. The IT Process Risk professional will work to identify, assess, and validate IT processes against acceptance criteria and help establish the IT Process Risk Assessment Oversight program. The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring IT processes adhere to risk management and compliance standards. This individual will be responsible for evaluating and validating internal controls, managing IT risk assessments, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, frameworks, and standards.

Responsibilities

Help establish IT Process Risk Assessment Oversight Program.

Identify, assess, and validate IT processes and performance metrics against acceptance criteria to ensure expected deliverables and control effectiveness.

Research business needs and/or industry-leading standards to support the identification of gaps or deficiencies in new and existing IT Operations management processes/service performance levels.

Escalate deficiencies of processes/service performance levels according to established policies, standards, and procedures as appropriate.

Partner with various IT Operations groups and provide support for continuous review and process improvement initiatives.

Provide support as needed to ensure proper execution of IT processes.

Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or higher in Information Systems, Computer Science, or equivalent combination of work experience.

Minimum of 5-7 years in developing or supporting ITSM processes/metrics and reporting.

Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in IT risk management, compliance, audit, or a related role.

Strong understanding of IT processes, risk assessment methodologies, and compliance frameworks (e.g., COBIT, ITIL, ISO 27001, NIST).

Strong understanding of ITIL processes (Asset Management, Incident Management, Change Management, Problem Management, Service Level Management, etc.).

Understanding of areas such as servers, databases, storage, backup and recovery, asset management, certificate management, capacity, etc.

Experience with GRC / Project Management tools like JIRA, Confluence, and ServiceNow.

Professional certification of ITIL or similar preferred.

Banking/Financial Services background desired.

Detail-oriented with strong organizational and prioritization skills.

Strong communication and writing skills.

Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio.

Compensation

The base pay range for this position is USD $80,000.00/Yr. – USD $130,000.00/Yr. Exact offers will be determined based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
