Oversee the day-to-day operations of the undergraduate program, including student advising, curriculum development, and program assessment.Work with the enrollment management team to recruit and retain excellent students with attention to achieving the goal of a diverse student body.Collaborate with faculty to develop and enhance the undergraduate curriculum, ensuring it reflects current trends, best practices, and emerging needs in the field of public health.Provide guidance and support to undergraduate students, including academic advising, career development, and placements.Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including alumni, industry professionals, and community partners, to foster experiential learning opportunities and job placements.Responsible for oversight of the student handbook and onsite/online course materials to deliver relevant and skill-based content that meets standards for CEPH competencies.Conduct cutting-edge epidemiological research, contributing significantly to the field, and secure extramural funding to support their research program. Areas of interest may include but are not limited to infectious diseases, chronic diseases, environmental epidemiology, social determinants of health, global health, or emerging health threats.Provide innovative and engaging instruction at the undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral levels. Courses may cover fundamental principles of epidemiology, advanced epidemiological methods, statistical analysis, and specialized topics related to the candidate’s expertise.Supervise and mentor graduate students on their theses and dissertations.Minimum Position Qualifications

Candidates for this position must hold a Doctoral degree in Epidemiology or a related field and meet academic requirements for consideration as a tenured or tenure-track Associate Professor at the time of appointment.Special Conditions

Candidates should have: (1) a background in teaching and curriculum development in the field of public health; (2) a record of peer-reviewed publications and a strong record of extramural research funding; (3) a commitment to promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion in all aspects of academic programs; (4) excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.Posting Date
