Explore our opportunities and become part of a company that values diversity, integrity, and growth.Role Overview:PDI Technologies is looking for a high performing Product Owner to help support the fast-paced growth and scaling of our core Data Services platform and data feed products within the PDI Consumer Engagement business. The Product Owner (PO) is a critical member of an agile development team that drives the team to deliver high quality, high value features and functions. As a PO, you will help shape our product features and requirements while working closely with Agile engineering teams, Product Managers, customers, and business stakeholders to build high quality products for our target markets. This role reports directly to the Product Manager of data feeds.Key Responsibilities
Stay aligned with and contribute to the product vision, roadmaps and prioritiesWork directly with the Product Manager of data feeds to manage the data product roadmapServe as a product evangelist, particularly with Product Managers and Business teams, to help them understand the best practices of using the insights and data platformContribute and develop documentation and product analysis for new data product features including data analysis, architecture, and data pipeline designParticipate in engineering sprint ceremonies, including Sprint Planning, Backlog Refinement and RetrospectivesCollaborate with teams to review output during sprints, answer questions about desired functionality/outcomes lead sprint reviews and product demosEnsure the team has the appropriate number of stories in the backlog prepared for sprint planning by conducting backlog refinement, monitor ready stories vs. velocityManage product backlog in ALM tools such as Jira, Confluence, etc.Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in business, information systems, computer science, math, statistics, or a related field, or equivalent experience2-4 years of experience as a business analyst, product manager, product owner, or similar rolesProficiency in Excel and SQL, with experience in ETL processesStrong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into non-technical termsAbility to prioritize tasks with competing deadlines and work under pressureExcellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with attention to detailMotivated self-starter with a collaborative mindset and the ability to learn independently or through asking questionsFamiliarity with Agile process and principles, software development fundamentals, and best-practice standardsPreferred Qualifications
Experience working with sales or point-of-sale dataExperience with Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, or other data warehousing platformsExperience with business intelligence tools (Tableau, PowerBI, QuickSight, Sigma, etc.)Experience with DBTUnstructured data experienceExperience with large data setsBehavioral Competencies
