SAP eWM Business Analyst

BCTG’s direct client is looking for an SAP eWM Business Analyst to perform business requirements, analysis, design, configuration, testing and user adoptions related activities within the extended warehouse management space. The person in this position collaborates with other SAP team members and staff towards defining, enhancing, and integrating SAP EWM solutions across the ERP platform and related business processes.
Essential Functions and Duties
Manage relationships and liaison with supply chain management business stakeholders on identifying and owning the business processes andrequirements to be built in SAP S4/HANA Enterprise Management ERP.
IT Owner of SAP processes in the EWM area, configuration, testing and
related functional documentation.
Partner with systems integrator resources in performing fit-gap analysis, build and testing of the solution that meets the business requirements.
Perform review and signoff of SAP solution build in the EWM area – configuration, development, testing and sign off.
Review impact of SAP functionality across functional teams and provide impact analysis and decisions to EWM business process owners, project managers, and other SAP Implementation partners and team members.
Own solution adoption and business user facing documentation (e.g. process scope, user manuals, solution briefs, functional summaries).
Support existing warehouse management business processes and suggest improvements.
Collect requirements for new business processes and document in common template requirement documentation.
Responsible for a variety of duties including supporting users, diagnosing and resolving system problems, implementing new modules as a part of a team, making configuration changes, testing patches and upgrades, and modifying and creating production reports.
Plan Risk management according to project management plan. Analyze risks and then plan risk response.
Required Knowledge:
Must have strong business knowledge in materials management, procurement, MRP processes, inventory management and logistics execution processes with a strong emphasis in SAP EWM within an HU and serialized managed warehouse.
Knowledge of SAP EWM configurations, integration and best practices.
Must possess strong understanding of SAP configuration set-ups, functionality, interaction of the ERP modules and ability to diagnose and resolve problems within and between modules.
Required Experience:
Must have at least ten (10) + years of experience in the supply chain management support area.
Must have at least five (5) years of hands on EWM experience.
Experience working in a serialized inventory environment with hands on knowledge and understanding of SAP’s ATTP and ICH platforms would be desirable.
Experience in a distribution environment is required.
Required Skills:

Must have a detail orientation and the proven ability to prioritize work.
Must have effective verbal and written communication skills.
Must have the ability to work with limited supervision and as part of a team.
Sound decision-making abilities.
