here .About the Role:
PVH Corp. is searching for a highly skilled and expert Tax Director to join our tax team in New York City. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in driving the Company’s US and global tax compliance and financial reporting functions, directly reporting to the VP of Global Financial Tax Reporting & Compliance. This includes leading the reporting of the consolidated quarterly and annual US tax provision under ASC 740, including the worldwide effective tax rate, deferred taxes, uncertain tax positions, valuation allowances, and tax footnote disclosures. Your duties will also include leading the preparation and review of the US Federal consolidated tax return to ensure accuracy and compliance with relevant IRS rules and regulations. Additionally, this position offers an exciting chance to inspire change and help redesign and improve tax processes across PVH Corp global tax operations. You will also be empowered with the opportunity to redesign and automate the Company’s tax reporting function alongside the SVP of Global Operations and Transformation in applying the latest in financial ERP and tax technology to further assist in the transformation of the overall tax reporting function.What You'll Do:
Supervise, coordinate and prepare the global interim and year-end tax provision, including the calculation of current taxable income, worldwide effective tax rate and related tax journal entries and financial disclosures in accordance with income tax reporting standards.Collaborate with cross-functional global tax team members to resolve and analyze income tax accounting issues for uncertain income tax positions as defined under ASC 740.Work closely with external and internal auditors to satisfy corporate and SEC audit requirements and consult on effective internal controls.Handle various in-house U.S. federal tax compliance activities, including the review and preparation of various tax forms, foreign tax credit calculations, excise tax on repurchase of corporate stock, etc.Provide support for ongoing activities of the tax department, including income tax audits and various tax planning initiatives.Collaborate with accounting department/IT to improve opportunities for automation of data and ensure completeness, accuracy, and efficiency.Support, mentor, and develop tax analyst personnel and interns in tax accounting and tax compliance fields.Lead exciting projects and priorities with outstanding interpersonal skills and dedication to positive team dynamics.Understand and conduct research on intermediate to advanced tax issues.Represent tax as part of PVH multi-year SAP S4/SAC implementation working closely with PVH finance transformation teams, workstream leads, tax technology teams, third-party SAP tax integration resources and third-party system implementers.Identify and assess tax technology risks and opportunities and develop solutions to mitigate risks and capitalize on opportunities.Work with both the Executive Vice President & Senior Vice President of Global Tax to assure execution of overall tax operations strategy.What You'll Bring:
Minimum of 12-15 years of work experience within a large multinational and/or Big Four firm, with a minimum of 5 years at a tax managerial position in tax provision and compliance reporting.Strong proficiency in general accounting, financial analysis, alongside deep experience in ASC 740, GAAP and Non-GAAP reporting concepts.Proficiency with CorpTax and OneSource tax provision software.Possesses strong verbal and written communication skills and ability to work efficiently as a part of a team.Familiarity with SAP preferred (e.g. S4, Group Reporting, & SAP Analytics Cloud).Strong Microsoft Suite skills required (e.g. MS Office, SharePoint/Teams).Exhibits critical thinking and problem-solving skills with the ability to assess sophisticated tax issues and proactively drive quality results.Excellent communication and social skills, with the ability to collaborate efficiently across functions.Education:
A Bachelor’s degree in public accounting from an accredited college or university is required, or equivalent experience. CPA certification and/or Masters’ degree required.#LI-Hybrid
#LI-MS1Pay Range: $175,000 - $190,000. PVH currently provides base salary ranges for all positions-on job advertisements-in the United States based on local requirements. These ranges are based on what PVH reasonably believes that it will pay an associate for their base salary for said position at the time of the posting.
