At Smith+Nephew we design and manufacture technology that takes the limits off living.The Field Inventory Analyst is responsible for implementing company inventory/capital policy and procedures on a district and territory level, minimizing inventory/instrument investment as well as maintaining accurate records of product placements. Responsible for the day-to-day supervision of the district inventory and logistics function and management of inventory. Participate in physical inventories, exit audits, and cycle counts. Meet regularly with field sales teams to manage inventory and improve the efficiency of inventory placement.**This position does

provide visa transfer or sponsorship now or in the future**What will you be doing?Partner with current Field Inventory Analyst Team to support the field logistics network for Sports Medicine and manage inventory and capital.Review capital and inventory performance with District Sales Managers and sales reps and recommend adjustments to inventory/instrument levels to maximize performance.Work with the Sales team to meet or exceed inventory budgets.Assist sales reps with annual regional audit preparations.Conduct exit audits and cycle counts to help achieve budgeted loss amounts.Meet regularly with the sales management team to provide reporting and analytics and assist with the training of the sales force on as needed basis.What will you need to be successful:Education:

Bachelor’s degree with emphasis in Logistics Management, Operations Management, or Data Analysis.Experience:

Minimum 3 years’ experience in Inventory, Materials Management, Customer Service, Data Analysis, or related fields.Self-reliant and able to work on long-ranging projects without direct supervision.Ability to work in cross-functional teams.Good communication and presentation skills.Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.). Excel intermediate to advanced level.Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems.Leadership:

Self-reliant and able to work on projects without direct supervision.Travel Requirements:

10-25%.The anticipated compensation range for this position is $63,750.00 - $85,000.00 USD annually and the compensation offered will depend on the candidate’s qualifications.
