We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Data Warehouse Manager to oversee a team of 5-10 people responsible for the data warehouse operations within our organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the design, implementation, and maintenance of our data warehouse systems, ensuring data integrity, optimizing performance, and supporting business intelligence initiatives.Key Responsibilities:Design and Development:
Lead the architectural design and development of robust data warehouse solutions that meet the company's data storage, retrieval, and analysis needs.Data Integration:
Oversee the integration of data from various sources into the data warehouse, ensuring data consistency, quality, and accuracy.Performance Optimization:
Monitor and optimize the performance of the data warehouse, including query performance, data loading, and overall system efficiency.Data Governance:
Implement and enforce data governance policies and procedures to ensure data security, privacy, and compliance with industry standards and regulations.Team Management:
Lead and manage a team of data engineers, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure the successful execution of data warehouse projects.Collaboration:
Work closely with other departments, such as IT, business intelligence, and analytics teams, to understand data requirements and deliver solutions that support business objectives.Documentation:
Maintain comprehensive documentation of data warehouse architectures, processes, and procedures.Continuous Improvement:
Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in data warehousing and implement improvements to enhance system capabilities and performance.Issue Resolution:
Troubleshoot and resolve any data warehouse-related issues promptly to minimize downtime and ensure smooth operations.Required Qualifications:Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems or a related field.Experience:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in data warehousing.Technical Skills:
Proficiency in SQL, ETL processes, data modeling, and data warehousing tools and technologies (e.g. Azure, SQL, Fivetran, dbt, Snowflake, Tableau).Project Management:
Strong project management skills, with experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously and delivering them on time and within budget.Problem-Solving:
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions.Communication:
Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.Attention to Detail:
High attention to detail, with a focus on ensuring data accuracy and integrity.Leadership:
Proven leadership abilities, with experience in managing and mentoring a team of data professionals.Preferred Skills:Advanced Education:
Master’s degree in a related field.Agile Methodologies:
Experience working in an Agile development environment.Healthcare Industry Knowledge:
Knowledge of healthcare specific data warehousing needs and challenges.Interpersonal Skills:
Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.Innovation:
