This role involves supporting daily operations and modernizing our data warehousing function with industry-leading tools in a cloud environment. We welcome candidates from all backgrounds with experience in SAS, ETL, and Python.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and coordinate the data warehousing team.
- Manage the work backlog and prioritize tasks.
- Mentor team members and foster an inclusive environment.
- Deliver ETL and data processing code.
- Develop process automation solutions.
- Liaise with third-party suppliers.
- Document systems and processes.
- Advise on data security and compliance.
- Design solutions and support scheduling systems.
- Champion best practices in coding and solution design.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field.
- Experience managing a technical team (desirable).
- Excellent communication skills.
- Strong understanding of data warehousing and ETL principles.
- Experience with SAS software, Oracle databases, and Python.
- Intermediate skills in Windows and Linux OS.
- Attention to detail and multi-tasking abilities.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of finance sector and legal guidelines.
