Staff Contract Administrator based out of Linthicum, MD . This position offers the 9/80 schedule.What You’ll Get to Do:Responsibilities include the following:Act as primary interface with customer for contractual issues; Monitor contract and associated program to ensure contractual obligations are communicated and understood.Conduct proposal preparation, contract negotiation, contract administration, and customer contact activities for proper contract acquisition and fulfillment per company policies, legal requirements, and customer specifications.Work to develop solutions to routine and complex contractual matters to ensure company compliance with contract requirements on assigned programs.Review terms and conditions to address provisions and risks of financial terms, acceptance criteria, delivery requirements, warranty, intellectual property, termination provisions, indemnification, and all other potential risk areas and recommend risk mitigation strategies.Prepare and manage written communications with internal and external customers for assigned contractual matters.Ensure timely delivery of all contractual deliverables and submitting invoices, proposals, and data calls.Ensure contract requirements are fulfilled, manage contract changes, and maintain historical information.
Basic Qualifications:Bachelor's degree and 13+ years of relevant directly related experience, or Master's degree and 11+ years of directly relevant experience. Will consider 17 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.Strong technical acumen in Microsoft Office Suite (specifically Excel, PowerPoint, and Word) and Adobe.In-depth knowledge of FAR/DFARS and demonstrated experience with different contract types.Strong problem-solving and analytical skills; ability to make recommendations and effectively bring projects to completion.Must have capable & effective proposal development skills, excellent negotiation skills, and excellent oral and written communication skills.Must have an active Secret security clearance, with the most recent periodic investigation completed in the last 5 years.Ability to travel occasionally.Preferred Qualifications:Active Top Secret security clearance.Experience in the Aerospace Industry.Extensive DoD Contracting experience with USG and Prime customers.Experience working restricted programs, proven ability to work in closed program areas.NCMA Certification (CPCM, CFCM and/or CCCM).What We Can Offer You:Northrop Grumman provides a comprehensive benefits package and a work environment which encourages your growth and supports the mutual success of our people and our company.
