is looking for a
Senior IT Buyer
to work from their Corporate Headquarters in
Dallas, TX . The Senior Buyer is responsible for managing the procurement of IT-related goods and services, including hardware, software, and IT services. This role involves negotiating contracts, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring the timely and cost-effective acquisition of IT resources. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in IT procurement, strong negotiation skills, and the ability to work with cross-functional teams.Key Responsibilities:
Source and procure IT hardware, software, and services in alignment with company needs and budget constraints.Negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers to secure the best possible pricing and service levels.Manage supplier relationships to ensure high performance, compliance, and continuous improvement.Collaborate with IT and other departments to understand their requirements and ensure procurement activities support business objectives.Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends, pricing, and new technologies.Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, risk management, and regulatory requirements.Prepare and present reports on procurement activities, savings, and other key metrics to management.Generate and present ROI analysis as needed.Qualifications:
Bachelor's in Information Technology, Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field preferred.Relevant certifications (e.g., CPSM, CIPS) are a plus.Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in IT procurement or a related field.Minimum of 3 years of IT sourcing negotiation and contract management.Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.Proficient in procurement software and CLM tools.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Knowledge of IT market trends and emerging technologies.Preferred Skills:
Experience in a global or multi-national company.Familiarity with ITIL and other IT service management frameworks.
