This position is responsible for assisting and managing the environmental, health, and safety functions associated with improving workplace safety and health, while maintaining compliance. Responsible for assisting with the implementation of company environmental, health and safety programs and procedures for all business units and facilities in compliance with company policies and industry regulatory requirements, including reporting. Responsible for accident data compilation, abatement, record keeping, safety communication and awareness, and audits of field system(s).MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:Education:High School diploma or equivalent, required.Experience:5 years of experience in landscape, construction, or similar industry.License or Certification:N/ASpecialized Skills:Ability to interact and communicate both verbally and in writing.Proficient in MS Office Programs.Demonstrated knowledge and experience with CRM systems.Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.Self-starter: ability to achieve goals without daily supervision.Strong attention to detail, time management, and decision-making skills.Strong business acumen & writing skills.ESSENTIAL DUTIES:Manage Company OSHA Logs.Assist with the development and distribution of meeting documents.Assist in updating Company safety policies.Manage Company safety reports, provide incident data to other departments as needed.Oversee the completion of safety committee meetings; assist with and provide feedback to branches.Assist branches in completing safety portion of prequalification documents for potential projects.Assist EHS Director with Government agencies such as OSHA, County Ag Department, and environmental agencies.Assist in the development of safety training programs; conduct training at branch level.Review branch training records: identify training needs based upon Federal, State, and Company requirements.Assist branches with environmental compliance, online tracking and reporting, storage, and disposal.Conduct facility and jobsite inspections.Attend training as needed to assist in personal development in the field of safety.Total Rewards:At Monarch, we strive to deliver a Total Rewards package that will attract, engage, and retain top talent.
