The Director of General Education and University Transfers is a critical leadership position within UAF CTC; overseeing the development and implementation of general education programs and transfer pathways. Typical responsibilities of this position include developing and maintaining general education curricula, advising students on transfer pathways, coordinating articulation agreements with other institutions, and overseeing the assessment of general education outcomes.To be successful in this position, the candidate should possess a strong understanding of general education curriculum, transfer policies, and accreditation standards. To thrive in this role you will be a collaborative leader with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, experience in developing and implementing dual enrollment programs, familiarity with online learning and distance education and have the ability to work effectively with faculty, staff, and students.Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., education, counseling, curriculum and instruction) and four years progressively responsible relevant experience, OR an equivalent combination or training and experience. Master's degree preferred.Position Details:This position is located on site at the main campus for the UAF Community and Technical College in downtown Fairbanks. This is a full-time, 12-month, exempt staff position complete with both a competitive salary and
